Luis Manzano has been the host of countless of shows in the Kapamilya network. Some of these are hit game shows such as "Kapamilya, Deal or No Deal," "Minute to Win It," and "Family Feud."
Though he has also starred in a number of films in his career, it is hosting that Luis seems to be more concentrated in.
And Luis also acknowledges this truth about his career as he said in a story by PUSH today, October 5, “Kasi sa hosting mas may kuwenta ako kumpara sa pagiging actor ko, eh. So, dun na ako sa mas kikita ako. Mas realist kasi ako."
But Luis admitted that he misses being on the big screen.
“Honestly, nami-miss ko rin siyempre,” he said.
The son of Star for All Seasons Vilma Santos and actor Edu Manzano, Luis said that he was supposed to work in a few movies, but politely begged off to disclose details about why they did not push through for him.
The 36-year-old host also shared the dream roles he has as an actor. One of them he was already able to play in the film "In My Life," where he portrayed a complex gay character.
His other dream role is a mentally challenged person like that of Sean Penn's character in the Hollywood movie, "I am Sam."
“Ang galing ni Sean Penn dun, eh. Kahit ako, minsan tina-try kong i-understand kung paano niya nagawa 'yung role na 'yon. Parang ang hirap, pero ang galing, 'di ba?” Luis said.
