Well, Jacintha’s (Angel Locsin) answer to Malia’s (Kathryn Bernardo) question on last night’s (October 30) episode of “La Luna Sangre” left us all feeling… disappointed?
Jacintha ultimately told Malia that she didn’t know her or any Lia. And with Barang’s (Shamaine Buencamino) watchful eye on them, she angrily told the young girl to stop following her. (UGH did Barang just ruin what could have been a happy and emotional mother-daughter reunion?!)
This left Malia heartbroken and sought comfort in her friend Ningning (Kristel Fulgar). Barang watched as the two talked and found out that Malia was the Bagong Itinakda! Thankfully, before she could go tell Supremo (Richard Gutierrez) about Malia, Samantha (Maricar Reyes-Poon) took her away.
But Malia’s encounter with Jacintha left her dazed, so much so that the LLU was worried for their Punong Bantay. They told her that it was impossible for Lia to still be alive, but after seeing her mother’s face herself, she refused to listen.
Our scene of the day takes place the next day, as Malia tried to leave their hideout, and here’s why:
The way Malia rushed down the stairs (in a hurry there?)
How she reluctantly stopped (even kinda glared a bit) and turned to face the LLU when they caught her (hehe this felt so teenage angst to me, annoyed with getting caught trying to sneak out)
The way Jethro (Dino Imperial) questioned where she was going (Parang tatay lang kung magtanong. Sayang wala si Baristo [Joross Gamboa]!)
How Malia angrily told them that Jacintha wasn’t Supremo’s ally (woah there. Keep your cool, girl! Can’t go losing your head now)
The look of desperation when Gael (Bryan Santos) asked what if Jacintha was indeed Lia, pointing out that she could have her own plan against him (huhu she really wants her mom back </3)
How Gael told her she would just be endangering Jacintha if she tried to get close to her (Hmm.. Gael has a point…)
The way Malia reminded them she is the Punong Bantay and that she's only doing what she thought was right (OOOHH OUCH. Using your title against them? That’s harsh.)
How Gael asked her to listen to them and to let them do the work because they were only thinking of her safety (Oo nga naman, Malia. They’re just looking out for you!)
Here’s hoping Malia listens! *fingers crossed*
Elsewhere, the serum Prof. T (Albert Martinez) made to protect the Moonchasers’ families seemed to have worked as it brought the sick people back to health pretty quickly, to Tristan’s (Daniel Padilla) great relief as he hated to see his family suffer.
Also, a sad mini-family reunion happened between the new vampire Greta (Meryll Soriano) and Kuto (John Steven de Guzman). Kuto gave Greta a rather sad update on their life - where they were living now, how Tatay Berto (Dennis Padilla) was, and how her baby died a few days after the explosion. Heartbroken by the loss of not just her mother Nanay Dory (Sylvia Sanchez) but also her baby, Greta vowed to get revenge on the person responsible - Miyo.
Will Malia keep her distance from Jacintha like the LLU asked? And what does Samantha plan to do with Barang? Catch an all-new episode of “La Luna Sangre” tonight on Primetime Bida after “FPJ's Ang Probinsyano."
