If you want some new details about Enrique Gil's "Seven Sundays" character Dexter Bonifacio, then you've come to the right place!
In our recent interview, the actor revealed that his character was actually inspired by the their director Cathy Garcia-Molina's experiences as a bunso.
"Actually, I'm playing the role of Direk Cathy sa totoong buhay niya kasi siya 'yung bunso ng pamilya nila. Madami silang magkakapatid at dahil malayo 'yung age gap niya sa family niya [parang si Dexter sa mga Bonifacio]...they felt left out."
He continued, "By the time na tumatanda si Dexter, graduate na mga kuya niya. So parang nasanay na ako na I was alone, na wala akong kasama."
As for Dexter's motivations, Enrique had this to say:
"He's trying to find the love of a father, the brothers, the sister kasi nga he grew up without them eh. Ibang-ibang set up 'yun that's why it's interesting."
You will finally get to meet Allan (Aga Muhlach), Bryan (Dingdong Dantes), Cha (Cristine Reyes), Dexter, and their father Manuel (Ronaldo Valdez) in "Seven Sundays". Directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, it's set to hit cinemas this October 11!
