In line with the upcoming Kim Chiu film "The Ghost Bride" that tackles an ancient Chinese tradition, cast members Matteo Guidicelli, Christian Bables, Victor Silayan, and Ina Raymundo were asked about practices they grew up with in their family.
This they talked about at the film's Bloggers Conference last Sunday, October 22.
"'Di ko na siya sinusunod ngayon pero before may mga paniniwala kami as family. 'Yung mga Feng Shui," Christian shared.
The same goes for Matteo's family.
"Mga Feng Shui, Ghost Month. Mga charms-charms. My mom has a Chinese blood din kasi," he explained.
Victor and Ina, meanwhile, admitted that they are unaware of these practices but hoped that they should've known about them sooner.
"Kami wala, honestly. Lately ko lang nalaman 'yung mga ghost bride. 'Di rin ako naniniwala sa Ghost Month pero lately naranasan ko kaya naniniwala na ako. Business-wise," Victor revealed.
Ina shared Victor's sentiments, but in a different situation.
"Nanghihinayang ako na sana alam ko 'yung Chinese calendar kasi para 'yung sa gender ng baby," she added.
This coming November 1, we'll learn about an ancient Chinese tradition called the ghost wedding in the much-awaited horror film "The Ghost Bride" helmed by director Chito Roño and starring Kim Chiu in the titular role.
