Boarded at 102117 flight MM, Ylona Garcia had a bold and fierce "arrival" as she successfully staged her first major concert last Saturday, October 21, at the Music Museum.
In her concert titled “Arrival, Ylona Garcia,” the 15-year-old teen superstar showed off her angelic yet powerful vocals, together with her smooth and fearless dance moves - which proved how much of a total performer she is.
Ylona did spectacular cover performances of Beyonce's “Sweet Dreams” and "Run the World," Sarah G’s “Kilometro,” and Ariana Grande’s “Dangerous Woman,” to name a few. She also sang her own hit single “Dahan Dahan Dahan Lang” followed by “Fly Tonight” where she got emotional and shed some tears. Even at that moment, she still could not believe that she was finally able to achieve her “sweet dream.”
She also had a duet of Sarah Geronimo and Piolo Pascual's "Paano Ba Ang Magmahal?" with fellow recording artist Iñigo Pascual, who is also set to hold his own concert on December 1 at the same venue.
The teen superstar also had a very heartwarming number with her mentor, Yeng Constantino, who was very proud of her and what she has become.
Ylona was also able to share the stage with Jake Zyrus, who belted out their incredible rendition of Harry Styles’ “Sign of the Times.”
While her best friend and on-screen partner Bailey May wasn't able to make it to her concert, the Now United member didn't fail to show his support as he left a surprise video message for Ylona. Ylona also revealed in our interview that Bailey gave her a phone call few days before her concert to wish her luck.
And to everyone who just cannot get enough of her, what more can we expect from this teen wonder...?
She answered us with a giggle, “A whole lot more craziness!”
Congratulations and way to go, Ylona! <3
