Enrique Gil and Direk Cathy Garcia-Molina have worked together in “Forevermore”, “My Ex and Whys” and “Seven Sundays” so it’s only natural for
Enrique to feel a tinge of sadness that the acclaimed director has announced her plans to retire from filmmaking.
In his Bloggers Conference last October 15, the actor revealed the things he will miss the most about Direk Cathy, saying:
“Her realness sa eksena. The little things that matter for me as an actor. The little things that she does that makes her who she is.”
He continued, “It’s the little things she does that makes her amazing as a director.”
Watch him talk all things Direk Cathy in the video below:
“Seven Sundays” tells the story of the four Bonifacio siblings (Dingdong Dantes, Cristine Reyes, Enrique Gil and Aga Muhlach), who are forced to return to their childhood home when their Tatay Manuel (Ronaldo Valdez) is diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer.
The main question is, as they confront their history, will they be able to reconnect and find redemption in each other?
"Seven Sundays" is now on its second week in cinemas!
