One thing's for sure: Aga Muhlach wants his next movie with Lea Salonga to be spectacular.
Saying that everyone wants another LeAga movie is a serious understatement. Over the past few years, fans of the 1995 classic "Sana Maulit Muli" has grown steadily in numbers and now that Aga is back, still with his legendary actor status, well...we all want that third movie, beshie.
In an interview with members of the press after the "Seven Sundays" Press Conference last October 8, Aga shared that he wants to do the LeAga tandem justice with their next team-up.
"Para sa 'kin, it's the project more than the casting so even if it's an Aga-Lea, if it's not nice, sayang," he said.
"Kasi if we get into a movie again together, it should be [better] than 'Sana Maulit Muli.'"
According to Aga, definite plans for the elusive third movie has yet to materialize but the "Seven Sundays" actor assured us loyal fans that we are in for a huge surprise.
"We're working on it. We'll see. It's gonna be a surprise. If it happens, it's gonna happen. We're not even gonna announce it anymore," he said.
We can't wait!
“Seven Sundays” tells the story of the four Bonifacio siblings (Dingdong Dantes, Cristine Reyes, Enrique Gil and Aga Muhlach), who are forced to return to their childhood home when their Tatay Manuel (Ronaldo Valdez) is diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer.
The main question is, as they confront their history, will they be able to reconnect and find redemption in each other?
"Seven Sundays" is now on its second week in cinemas!
