Aga Muhlach, surprised sa LeAga fans?

In his October 15 interview on "Gandang Gabi Vice," Aga Muhlach, in all his leading man glory, revealed that he's quite surprised to see fans of his tandem with "Sana Maulit Muli" leading lady Lea Salonga increase in numbers over the past few years.

He said, "I'm really surprised na sa 2014 [to] 2017, parang doon nagkaroon ng Aga-Lea following. Sinasabi ko 'paano nangyari 'yun, saan nanggaling 'yun?'"

"'Yun nga eh [sa online nila napapanood]! Kasi alam mo matagal akong tumigil kasi, I stopped for like six years. Pinapanood [nila 'yung mga luma], pinapalabas sa TV or ganyan. Umabot sa point na nagpe-premiere night na 'yung mga luma kong pelikula," he continued.

"Sinasabi sa akin na 'Aga, nami-miss ka na nila...'"

Among Aga's restored films are "Sana Maulit Muli", "Basta't Kasama Kita," and "Sa Aking Mga Kamay".

His new movie "Seven Sundays," meanwhile, tells the story of the four Bonifacio siblings (Dingdong Dantes, Cristine Reyes, Enrique Gil and Aga), who are forced to return to their childhood home when their Tatay Manuel (Ronaldo Valdez) is diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer.

The main question is, as they confront their history, will they be able to reconnect and find redemption in each other?

"Seven Sundays" is now showing in cinemas nationwide!
