Kim Chiu set the Instagram world on frenzy two weeks ago, after she dedicated an appreciation post to her on-screen partner Xian Lim.
In an exclusive interview with us during a set visit in his upcoming action indie film "Corpus Delicti," Xian happily (with kilig, take note!) reacted to Kim's sweet Instagram post.
"Kim is a very special person. That was a very, very special day for (laughs). Kasi every New Year, I make it a point na talagang pumupunta ako sa kanila. I visit Kim, I visit her family, and sumasali talaga ako sa.. meron siyang pa-party. Maski sila-sila lang," the Kapamilya actor shared.
He added, "Of course, nakakatuwa lang na mabasa mo 'yun. Sino ba naman ang hindi matutuwa na your efforts are appreciated and you make someone happy and they reciprocate it back, 'di ba?"
So, if they were together last New Year, will they also spend the coming Valentine's Day together?
"Ever since hindi kasi namin pinaplano ang Valentines. Hindi naman sa hate. I’m not a big fan of planning out so much," Xian revealed.
The 27-year-old actor, who has a number of sweet and and creative tricks up his sleeve, this time, is still quite clueless on how to surprise Kim this Valentines.
"Ayoko [kasi] 'yung plantsado na lahat," Xian explained. "Mas maganda 'yung medyo may pagka-spontaneous, kasi maybe if you plan so much, meron lang siyang tendency na baka 'yung expectations medyo ma-fail. So it’s better if it’s very spontaneous and hindi natin alam ang gagawin natin..."
It can be remembered that for the past four years, Xian always showers Kim with grandiose surprises. So let's just wait on what he got this year!

Meanwhile, 2017 is the year where Kim and Xian will have to work separately, at least for some projects.
Kim is set to star in the TV series "Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin" alongside Gerald Anderson. Xian, meanwhile, is busy with his two upcoming films: an indie film "Corpus Delicti" produced by Cinebro and a mainstream film with Coleen Garcia under Star Cinema.
