Empress' journey to parenthood will inspire you
When you stalk Empress Schuck's Instagram account (@empressita), you will see how happy and contented she is with her life right now. Having a 15-month-old baby Athalia and a loving partner Vino Vinguona are enough reasons to this.

Before she reached such stage, Empress experienced one of the hardest in her life, an unexpected pregnancy during the peak of her blooming career in showbiz.

"It's not okay pero wala eh, it's GOD'S GIFT," she said in her "Magandang Buhay" guesting earlier today, January 18, with partner Vino.

The actress admitted how hard it was for her to tell her parents since that time, they were not "legal." Her parents did not know that she has a boyfriend.

So how did they tell their parents?

"Mahirap kasi nung time na 'yun, may cancer 'yung dad ko. So ayokong ma-divert 'yung attention muna. Kinausap ko 'yung mom ko prior to telling her mom and then my mom was supportive of me naman. Sinabi niya na she'll help me throughout. Okay naman," Vino related.

One thorn down for Vino and Empress.

After telling Vino's parents, it was time for them to finally spill the beans to Empress' family.

Sabay-sabay namin sinabi sa kanya," the 23-year-old actress shared.

Alam kong buntis 'yan! Alam ko ngang babae 'yan eh!' Eh hindi pa nga namin alam na babae that time.

Two thorns down.

Just when they thought everything would fall into the right place, Vino and Empress experienced the "parent scare." They were afraid to face the responsibilities of being young parents.

"Actually nung una, in denial pa kami nun. Parang 'di kami nagkita for how many weeks. Nag-away kami. Pero I went to her house tapos nag-usap kami. We made sure na healthy 'yung baby, 'yung pregnancy niya then I supported her all the way na until pagka-born ni Athalia," Vino relayed.

Empress echoed Vino's sentiments.

"Kung syempre, 'pag mabibigyan ako ng another chance, syempre mas maganda talaga kung pinlano ko muna," she explained.

However, when Athalia came to the world, everything changed for them.

"Sobrang kakaiba ng experience. Parang it's really hard to express and to explain ng one by one. It's more on the inside eh. Syempre the usual na it made us more mature. Actually it made us more positive. Mas intact with each other.

Now that they created their own little family, Empress revealed that they still don't talk about marriage.

Why?

"Parang 'di pa napag-uusapan kasi parang this is another big step na naman. Hindi siya biro. Hindi siya madali. Ang importante niya. Kaya parang for me, this time, we want to make it planned na," Empress said.

And syempre financially stable. Kailangan handa ka sa isa na namang important step in your life."

Empress' remarkable portrayals were Ava in "Super Inggo" and her first-ever starring role as Rosa in 2010 afternoon drama "Rosalka."

She was also among the cast members of some Star Cinema films like 'BFF (Best Friends Forever)," "Sa'Yo Lamang," "Dalaw," and "Beauty in a Bottle."
