How to pull off a destination wedding in 5 steps, It Girls style

By Chandral Selim

The "It Girls" comprised of Anne Curtis, Solenn Heussaff, Isabelle Daza, Georgina Wilson, Liz Uy, Bea Soriano, and Martine Cajucom have always been a source of inspiration and awe, from their style, to their poise, and even to their weddings.

Granted, only two of the seven "It Girls" have been married, but best friends Georgina and Solenn...they just know how to throw a wedding.

And with Isabelle's nuptials in the horizon (we cannot wait for the photos!), we decided that it would be a good idea to ask the question:

"What would you do if you could throw a destination wedding like an 'It Girl?'"

Here are five It Girls-inspired tips to help you out in planning your dream wedding!

1. Pick a place close to home.

Or at least the home in your heart.

Solenn and husband Nico Bolzico were married in France, where the actress' father Louis Paul Heussaff hails from.

Georgina, on the other hand, married an Englishman, like her father. Georgina and husband Arthur Burnand were married in Arthur's hometown Winchester, England.

2. Find happiness in the knowledge that your guests will consistently look amazing.

It helps if most of your friends are celebrities, but we do what we can with what we have.

The It Girls surround themselves with each other at their weddings, and the brides always make sure that all her guests look spectacular.

Even the kiddies. Especially the kiddies.

3. Documentation is key.

Hire the best wedding photographer you can find, and keep them close to you.

I promise you, you don't want to be 85, and have "ang shwanget ng wedding photos ko" as a top five regret.

4. Pull a Grace Kelly, and find a dress that will stand the test of time.

Let's start with saying that you can wear whatever you want in your wedding. You can wear a potato sack and everyone will still think you're beautiful.

A Grace Kelly dress is no joke. It's a moment-maker. Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge did it, Solenn and Georgina did it, and you can do it too!

Finding a classic dress is quite hard, especially nowadays, with a million dress options to choose from.

But if you find that perfect one, even if it isn't in the same style as George and Solenn's, if you feel like a classic bride in it, wear it.

5. Have fun!

Take your hair down... and party!
