Cristine Reyes is open to working with veteran actress Vivian Velez again despite their publicized feud earlier this year.
At the “Tubig at Langis” press conference last Saturday, August 13, Cristine said they could resolve their issues if they had a chance to talk things over.
“Siguro lahat naman nadadaan sa magandang usapan. If given a chance na magkita kami at makapag-usap ulit, okay lang din naman sa akin [na magtrabaho ulit together],” she related.
Vivian ranted on social media last March that Cristine humiliated her and asked her to be thrown out from their shared dressing room, which forced her to hand an “immediate irrevocable resignation” from the show. Cristine denied the issue in an interview on “Tonight with Boy Abunda.”
Cristine also related how grateful she was to be part of a show that received so much support from viewers.
“Siyempre na-feel ko 'yung blessing sa taas... Patay na oras 'yung airtime namin pero [maganda] daw 'yung rating namin. So thankful and blessed kaming lahat,” she said.
“Tubig at Langis,” which also stars Zanjoe Marudo and Isabelle Daza, is down to its last four weeks.
