Berlinale Silver Bear awardee "Hele Sa Hiwagang Hapis" will have three new screenings at the University of the Philippines-Diliman Film Institute at very historical dates.
The Lav Diaz epic will be shown on Independence Day (June 12) and Jose Rizal's birthday (June 19). It will also have a July 7 screening.

"Hele Sa Hiwagang Hapis (A Lullaby To The Sorrowful Mystery)" revolves around the desperate and harrowing 30-day search of Andres Bonifacio’s widow, Gregoria de Jesus, to find his lost body in the mountains. Despite being sick, hungry, angry, lonely, and nearly mad, she searches for the truth behind her husband’s death.
The movie stars two of the prominent actors of the country, John Lloyd Cruz and Piolo Pascual. Cast members include Angel Aquino, Cherie Gil, Alessandra de Rossi, Susan Africa, Bernardo Bernardo, Joel Saracho, and Hazel Orencio.
