Gerald Anderson has once again proven how great he is asan actor.
Yesterday, April 8, the 27-year-old actor received "Best Actor" award from the 14th Gawad Tanglaw for his outstanding performance in "MMK's" Lubag episode last 2015.
On Instagram (@andersongeraldjr), Gerald revealed who he dedicates his award to.
"For you Sir Bert.. Gawad Tanglaw Best Actor.. And sa lahat ng mga teachers .. To the world you might just be a teacher but to your students you are a HERO.." the caption reads.
Gerald played the role of Bert Santos, a teacher suffering from X-linked Dystonia Parkinsonism (XDP), also known as "lubag."
XDP is a disorder which affects a patient's movement and speech.
Meanwhile, Gerald starred in the post-Valentine blockbuster movie "Always Be My Maybe" with Arci Munoz.
