Lea Salonga took social media to express her disappointment over local theater goers who do not behave properly during shows.
In her tweets last April 9, the 45-year-old acclaimed actress-singer posted a series of do's and don'ts including turning off cellphones and refraining from singing along with the cast.
The "Voice of the Philippines" coach stressed that respect is not only given to the cast but also to the rest of the audience who are watching the show.
Lea returned to Broadway via "Allegiance" as Kei Kimura. The play, which also stars George Takei and Telly Leung, follows a family's extraordinary journey as inspired by a true story.
The Tony award-winning thespian is known for her Broadway roles such as Kim in "Miss Saigon," and Eponine and Fantine in the musical "Les Miserables."
