Piolo Pascual and John Lloyd Cruz, two of Star Cinema's finest actors, have flown to Berlin, Germany to attend the 66th Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale).
The two star in their first film together, "Hele Sa Hiwagang Hapis," which was directed by award-winning filmmaker Lav Diaz and executive-produced by Direk Paul Soriano under his film outfit TEN17P. Both directors are also in Berlin as with other members of the cast and production team.

“Hele Sa Hiwagang Hapis ( A Lullaby to the Sorrowful Mystery)" is a 485-minute film officially selected for the Berlinale's Main Competition.
It is the third Filipino film to participate in the said category after Ishmael Bernal’s “Himala” in 1982 and Brillante Mendoza’s “Captive” in 2012.
According to Direk Paul, “Hele Sa Hiwagang Hapis” is a sorrowful mystery that marries literature (the missing chapters of Jose Rizal's "El Filibusterismo"), mythology ("tikbalangs"), and history (Oryang's 30-day search for the lost body of Andres Bonifacio).
