The newest team-up of Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto is already making fans kilig, and their movie “Vince and Kath and James” hasn’t even premiered yet!
During the film’s grand media conference last Tuesday, December 6, Joshua and Julia both answered questions about the possibility of an off-screen romance.
Joshua mentioned that they’re still both young and are focused on doing more projects for now.
“Kung maka-luwag-luwag, siguro puwede,” he joked.
Julia agreed, and said finding a relationship while doing a project is not a priority for them.
“Going into this project, hindi namin first priority to find love. I think our first priority was to portray the roles well that was given to us. Ang second priority naman is to build friendship, kasi dun magsisimula 'yun,” she said.
However, Julia is not closing doors for a real-life relationship to blossom.
“Iba-iba priorities namin… Pero love will come, it will come. And we don't know when that will come,” she said.
“Vince and Kath and James” is a teen romance movie that shows how to love with #NoFilter.
When Kath (Julia) starts receiving sweet, anonymous texts, she wonders who they might be from. Could it be from Vince (Joshua), the nerdy, torpe guy she can’t stand, or James (Ronnie), the cute varsity player she likes? How will her love story unfold? Will someone love her in real life, beyond the bright screen of her phone?
"Vince and Kath and James" is Star Cinema's official entry to the 2016 Metro Manila Film Festival.
Directed by Theodore Boborol and adapted from Queen Elly’s viral social serye, the film premieres on Christmas day!
