Though his newest film “The Super Parental Guardians” didn’t make it to this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival, Coco Martin is bent on giving the movie as an early Christmas offering for everyone.
“Ginawa namin ‘to (movie) para masaya kayo, maligayahan kayo ngayong Pasko at para sulitin ang ibinayad ninyo sa sinehan,” the “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” actor told PUSH today, November 21.
He added that while he was saddened over the film’s non-inclusion at the MMFF, he respects the jury’s decision to feature a more indie roster this year.
“Noong hindi siya natanggap, aaminin ko masakit pero okay lang kasi hindi naman natin hawak ang desisyon,” Coco related. “Sabi namin kung may nagsarado na pinto, may nagbubukas naman na bintana.”
“The Super Parental Guardians” also stars Coco’s BFF Vice Ganda, as well as child stars McNeal “Awra” Briguela and Simon “Onyok” Pineda. Directed by Bb. Joyce Bernal, it will start showing on November 30!
