Actress Iza Calzado is representing the Philippines as one of the jury members at the Hanoi International Film Festival.
The festival will run from November 1 to November 5, and the actress, who has already flown to Vietnam, shared her "jury duties" on her Instagram page.
The actress walked the festival's red carpet in a glorious blue terno by famed fashion designer Rajo Laurel, in the arm of Jury Chairman, French filmmaker Regis Wargnier.
A delighted Iza wrote, "So happy, proud and honored to be part of the jury for the full length film competition of Hanoi International Film Festival 2016!"
"Thank you, God, for allowing me to represent my country on the global stage. Mabuhay!"
Iza will sit in a jury that includes actress Geraldine Chaplin, daughter of Charlie Chaplin and Oona O'Neill who is best known for her performance in the 1965 film, "Doctor Zhivago;" Adoor Gopalakrishnan, a celebrated south Indian filmmaker; and Vietnamese director Dao Ba Son.
