Piolo Pascual comments on Agot Isidro's anti-Duterte comments

By Chandral Selim

“I feel bad. I feel bad for Agot for whatever’s happening."

Actor Piolo Pascual said this about Agot Isidro, who became under fire this week for referring to President Rodrigo Duterte as a "psychopath".

Agot criticized President Duterte's statements about the United States, the European Union, and the United Nations in a now infamous Facebook post.

Kapamilya stars such as Robin Padilla and Cherry Pie Picache have already said their piece, and in an interview with PEP last October 12, Piolo, who is a Duterte supporter, also expressed his empathy for the actress.

He said, "That’s their opinion and that’s their stand. Respetuhan lang."

"Just like what (Cherry) Pie said, artista tayo, but we also have our social responsibility," he added. "Whatever we say, opinyon natin 'yun. We are all entitled to our own opinion, respetuhan lang."

However, Piolo still stands by the President despite the media circus that surrounds his administration.

He said, “I’ll just pray for him. I need to pray for our President, we need the President — regardless.”
