James “Bimby” Aquino-Yap was rushed to hospital after he accidentally hit his head hard earlier today, January 20.
Kris Aquino, who was taping for her “Kris TV” episode in Tagaytay, immediately headed back to Manila upon hearing the unfortunate news.
On Instagram (@withlovekrisaquino), the Queen of All Media posted photos of the eight-year-old Bimby while he was undergoing CT scan.
The TV host-actress shared that Bimby was cleaning the kitchen in their school - as part of the program to teach independence among youngsters - when he fell and hit his head hard on the wet floor he just mopped.
Kris said, “Thank God my sister Viel [Aquino-Dee] was in the area and met Bimb with Alvin, Gerbel, and Bincai in the ER of Medical City. Thank you to Dr. JJ Tiongson my neurologist for attending to Bimb.”
As of this writing, Bimby is now safe as the CT scan result is clear.
Meanwhile, Kris also expressed her gratitude to her “Kris TV” guest co-hosts Melai Cantiveros and Jason Francisco for understanding her situation.
She said, “I'm grateful that @mrandmrsfrancisco are also parents and understood when left them in the farm where we were taping so that I can travel back to be with Bimb.”
“Ang hirap mag-trabahong malayo sa anak. I'm just blessed I can really depend on my siblings when I'm taping far from home, 1 quick call to Viel and she was on her way to be with Bimb,” she added.
Kris and Bimby recently topbilled the star-studded Metro Manila Film Fest entry “All You Need Is Pag-ibig” with Kim Chiu, Xian Lim, Jodi Sta. Maria, Ian Veneracion, Derek Ramsay, Nova Villa, Ronaldo Valdez, Pokwang, and Julia and Talia Concio.
