MANILA - Former "Pinoy Big Brother" (PBB) housemate Marnill "Kigoy" Abarico, who passed away last week due to cardiac arrest, was laid to rest in his hometown in Leyte Tuesday afternoon. He was 36.
Abarico was part of the fourth season of "PBB," which Cebu-born Slater Young won. Dubbed as the "Bay Diskarte ng Ormoc," he joined the "Unlimited" edition of reality television show in order to find his siblings.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News on Tuesday, Generoso, Abarico's uncle, said that the former housemate's family was not able to attend the funeral. Generoso revealed that Abarico has long been separated from his wife and three children.

Abarico, who was raised by his single mother, has six siblings. One of his brothers, Ian Toliyao, broke down during the funeral. He was not able to comment on the death of his brother.
