Liza Soberano recalls shooting ‘Dolce Amore’ in Italy

Liza Soberano definitely has a lot of takeaways from shooting scenes of her upcoming teleserye “Dolce Amore” in Italy.

In a recent interview with ABS-CBN News, the 18-year-old actress related how much she enjoyed learning the Italian language and how she was challenged to speak purely so during a confrontation scene with no less than Cherie Gil.

“When I went to Italy, my scenes nalaman ko purong Italian siya talaga,” she related. “I had this one scene with Tita Cherie Gil. It was kind of a confrontation scene. I had to speak pure Italian only. I couldn’t speak in Tagalog or English. It was really hard. [But] it’s also fun and satisfying.”

In “Dolce Amore,” Liza plays an Italian Bella named Serena, a princess who wants nothing but a normal life. She flies to the Philippines where she will meet Ten Ten (Enrique Gil), the Tisoy Raketero who works doubly hard to help his family live a comfortable life.

According to Liza, “Dolce Amore” will air this February. It’s directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, who also helmed LizQuen's phenomenal debut series "Forevermore.”
