The hit primetime teleserye “Forevermore” has got viewers glued on their seats and tuned in on their TV screens for all the right reasons, and for the past seven months that it has aired on Philippine primetime it has well uncovered the twists and turns of the romance of Agnes Calay (Liza Soberano) and Xander Grande (Enrique Gil).
From the supporting cast down to the famed sitio La Presa, it has proven that it was because of the show’s great story that paved the way for its success.
And so before the road to forevermore closes tonight, here are the top 10 moments of XagNes that has definitely made our hearts flutter and made us rethink to give a love that lasts forevermore a chance, once again.
To kick off the list of the top ten Xagnes moments:
1. Xander, Agnes: The Meet-up
The time Xander rebelled and left to skydive was the best decision of his life, if he hadn’t crash landed at Mang Buboy’s truck he would have not met Agnes Calay, a farmer’s daughter, the road to Forevermore would have detoured.
2. The Confession of Love
Xander was acknowledged as a hero for saving Agnes’ life in the rubble. In his speech, he pointed out why he saved Agnes’ life and later turned his speech into a confession of love to Agnes.
3. Agnes and Xander’s Sweet Dance
Everybody definitely loves when starring roles primp up and attend fancy soirees. As for Xander and Agnes, it was night and the right moment to be romantic.
4. XagNes is official, Agnes says ‘Yes’ to Xander
It’s the turning point of ‘just friends’ to becoming official for XagNes. As Agnes tried her mighty best to have the perfect night with Xander before she says 'yes' as his girlfriend, all of the things that she has planned turned into failure and it made Agnes cry, but Xander proved to Agnes that her saying "yes"made everything more than perfect.
5. Love conquers all for XagNes
It was one of the most emotional moments for XagNes- when La Presa was at the brink of falling apart due to the Saavedra’s. Agnes has realized that she has wrongly judged Xander.That next morning, she finds Xander waiting for her and that's when they talk things through that despite everything not seeming to be right they have each other and all things will be fine.
6. Agnes’ Breaking point
Agnes’ world blew apart when she knew that Xander has left for London with Kate, and like anybody who would do anything for love, she attempts to chase after Xander and follow him in Manila, for her to apologize and ask him to not leave here.
7. Agnes turns cold with Xander
Xander has nothing in mind but to apologize to Agnes for leaving her and not saying a word to her in the last two years, and now that Xander is back, Agnes has turned cold with Xander.
8. XagNes short-lived Forevermore
In preparation for the final proposal, Xander insisted that Agnes should stay at the hotel with the girl, so they could finalize the paper. While working on the paperwork, Agnes fell asleep in Xander’s arm, and happily a chance for Superman Xander to look at his Miss Lane's face.
9. Agnes prefers to love Jay then Xander
Just when everything was about to fall into place. Kate came back with intention to mend the two broken hearts she has parted, but it brought a wrong impression to Agnes when she saw her and Xander back at the Hotel Grande. All terrors of the past came back to Agnes that caused her cold again with Xander.
10. Agnes safe in Xander’s arms
Last night episode's made a stir, as it fired the hope that XagNes could prove forever once and for all. When Agnes was lost in the woods and Xander fortunately found her, they searched for shelter due to the heavy rain. Xander grew concern of Agnes’ shivering and so Xander got rid of Agnes’ shirt and immediately hugged her in order for Agnes to normalize her temperature through body heat.
