Morissette Amon shares throwback pic with Nina

Morissette Amon’s admiration for Nina since she was young seems to not have diminished even a slight now that she is one of today’s most promising singers.

On April 26, the Rising Diva uploaded on her Instagram account (@itsmorissette) a collage showing a photo of her with Nina when she was eight years old in 2003, and a flash-forward photo of the two taken this 2015.

“The more na tinitingnan ko 'to, the more na kinikilig ako hihihi! #Nina was the very first artist I got to watch perform live, that top photo was taken during her album launch in SM Cebu in 2003..,” wrote Morisette in the caption as she explained the story behind the photos.

She continued, “Fast forward to 2015, she was walking around Shangri-La Plaza and saw me there for my album launch so she dropped by to say hi and congratulated me! I remember crying as I watched her sing one of her greatest hits ‘Foolish Heart’ back then and said to myself 'this is what I wanna do, to perform and leave people a part of me with the songs I sing.' this encounter just made that night more special for me."

Morissette wrapped up the caption with a message for the Soul Siren.

“Thank you Ate Nina, will always have respect and admiration for you! #latepost"

Morissette’s self-titled debut album under Star Music is available now in record bars nationwide.
