One of Tippy’s biggest dreams is to be able to record her own songs and have her very own album to release. All of this came true as she signed a recording deal with the country’s top independent record label— Universal Records yesterday, April 27.
Having achieved a lot in her life in such a young age, singer-actress-TV host Tippy dos Santos had already worked with many iconic artists and singers such as Sam Concepcion, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Ogie Alcasid, Eugene Domingo and Gary Valenciano.
She first worked with Universal Records two years ago and came out with the hit “Dati” which was recorded with Sam Concepcion and Quest for the PhilPop album. Now she is working on her first album which will be released sometime this year.
Tippy, being a full-time university student and taking up the course BS Family Life and Child Development, shares that other than her dream of being successful in the music industry, she also wants to become a pediatrician or doctor one day.
She also mentioned that she will be working on her first international indie film, “Abomination” in which she will portray the role of a disturbed girl. The film will be directed by Yam Lanaras and is an all-English film. Tippy said they are preparing very hard for the film and is excited for it to be shown in Philippine theaters after the international screening.
