Newly-engaged singer, actress, & host Nikki Gil shares her heart's journey from getting her heartbroken, moving on, to finally finding true love found in businessman BJ Albert, with new album “Love Revisited,” set to be launched at the Activity Center of Glorietta 2 this Friday, March 20.
“Love Revisited” is Nikki’s fourth album but first under Universal Records. It includes 12 OPM tracks that she purposely handpicked from “special moments” in her life.
In a press conference held at Café Elements at Brentwood Suites today, March 18, Nikki described the album as something that talks about “love lost and love found”.
She also sang two of her favorite tracks from the album at the same event. She started with “You’ve Made Me Stronger” then followed it with an APO Hiking Society classic “When I Met You.”
‘You’ve Made Me Stronger’
Nikki, 27, who ended her almost five-year relationship with “It’s Showtime” host Billy Crawford in 2013, claims that it didn’t take her long to realize that she’s ready to fall in love again.
“Love never runs out,” she added.
‘When I Met You’
Nikki admits that “When I Met You” is the song of her heart right now with lyrics “You showed me how tomorrow and today, my love, is different from the yesterday,” which seems fit for fiancé BJ.
“He makes me feel like I can do no wrong,” she said. “He always thinks the best for me.”
For their wedding plans, Nikki stayed mum on details but revealed that it will be “very classic, very traditional” and will be held the last quarter of the year.
