MANILA -- Viewers can expect a steamy love triangle drama from the series "Tubig at Langis," which marks Cristine Reyes' teleserye comeback after giving birth last February.
In an interview on "Kris TV," Reyes said the series, which also stars Zanjoe Marudo and Isabelle Daza, tackles a husband's betrayal.
"It's about bigamy.
According to Reyes, the series is based on the 1980 movie "Langis at Tubig," starring Vilma Santos, Amy Austria and the late Dindo Fernando.
"
The series, she said, will start airing in January next year.
Meanwhile, Reyes also announced that she will star in a new movie for director Chris Martinez.
