ABS-CBN President and CEO Charo Santos-Concio and award-winning actor-producer Piolo Pascual have been invited by an international educational institution to an exhibit in New York yesterday, November 21.
Charo and Piolo came to see the "Philippine Gold: Treasures of Forgotten Kingdom" at the Asia Society Museum, an exhibition that showcases some of the most magnificent discoveries of gold from the past 40 years in the islands of the Philippines.
The Kapamilya big boss delivered a short message while Piolo got to talk to Fil-Am journalists about his work in "On The Job," which was screened at the Philippine Arts Festival there last November 15.
The exhibit, which kicked off last September 11 and concludes in January 3 of next year, was organized by the Asia Society and the Ayala Museum.
Charo and Piolo are in New York for the 43rd International Emmy Awards, where the former is the Gala Chair - a first for any Filipino, and a first for any Asian in recent years.
Meanwhile, Piolo is the first Filipino celebrity to be invited as presenter at the event, which takes place November 23 at the New York Hilton Hotel.
