MANILA - John Angelo Ortiz, 27, who made a cross-stitch of the Virgin Mary for Pope Francis, appeared on the noontime show "It's Showtime" on Saturday.
Ortiz, who was born with cerebral palsy, appeared on "It's Showtime" one day after Pope Francis blessed him at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, where he presented his work, which he made using only his feet.
"Masaya at natanggap ni Pope Francis ang regalo ko," Ortiz told "It's Showtime" host Kim Atienza about his experience meeting the Pope.
Ortiz, a fan of Karylle, also got his wish to have his picture taken with the hosts of "It's Showtime."
