For the second year in a row, "The Voice" judge Sarah Geronimo carries the country’s name at the MTV Europe Music Awards for a nomination under the Best Southeast Asian Act.
The singer will compete for the title against NOAH from Indonesia, Yuna from Malaysia, Stefanie Sun from Singapore and Slot Machine from Thailand.
During the awards show last year at Frankfurt, Sarah lost the same title to My Tam from Malaysia.
This year, the show will take place at the city of Glasgow in Scotland.
Sarah is not the only act that may represent the country this year as popular band Up Dharma Down made it to the list of Wild Card Contenders signifying a possible inclusion in the awards show’s Southeast Asian category if they successfully gain a substantial number of tweets.
The final list of nominees will be released on September 16, 2014.
