ABS-CBN President Charo Santos-Concio heeded to the call of the ice bucket challenge today, Aug. 30.

The Kapamilya big boss got herself drenched in ice cold water after being nominated by news anchors Gretchen Fullido and Doris Bigornia.

As seen in her ice bucket challenge video uploaded by Star Cinema ad prom head Mico del Rosario on Facebook, Charo, in turn, nominated Sen. Grace Poe, actress Dawn Zulueta, and dermatologist Dr. Aivee Teo.

The ice bucket challenge is a social media campaign that seeks to raise awareness about amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), a degenerative illness, and raise funds for its research.

There are already three million donors (ranging from celebrities to politicians and even regular folks) to the cause, according to the ALS Association.
