A panicky Jobert Austria, mainstay of the gag show “Banana Nite,” faces “The Buzz” asking for help over a death threat that he allegedly received from his girlfriend’s previous partner.
Jobert became talk of the town after his attempt of jumping off a hotel building last Saturday, August 16. According to the male comedian, his goal was to catch attention in an attempt to veer away from the people who were trying to kill him.
Jobert stated that he stayed in the said hotel after receiving a ban notice from a condo where he stays.
To verify the news, Jobert called his girlfriend who replied that she did not ban him from staying in their condo unit.
Prior to his suicide attempt, Jobert revealed that he was under the influence of alcohol and has not eaten for days out of fear and depression that someone is out to kill him.
"Lasing ako kagabi. Hindi rin ako kumakain dahil nga nagwo-worry ako,” he said.
Meanwhile, his “Banana Split” family came to his rescue.
