Batangas Governor Vilma Santos broke down into tears as she delivered a message for her longtime personal assistant Aida Fandalian, 71, in the latter’s Necrological Mass held at the Loyola Memorial Park, last July 23.
According to PEP.PH, Vilma was in London when her Ate Aida was rushed to the hospital and when she came back her trusted aide has already passed on.
"But then, (it was only for) ten days. Kaya siguro ako nahihirapan tanggapin. It was too sudden. And I was expecting, pagbalik, I'd still see her sa ICU,” adds Vilma. "But (si) Ate Helen (Renta) nag-text na she (Aida) passed away. I just hope she understands.”
She also recalls how her Ate Aida defended her from bashers and how she remained loyal until the end.
"Huwag niyo ako titirahin dahil titirahin din niya kayo. Ganun talaga siya magmahal. "Although it's true, masungit (siya minsan),” she states. “Matandang dalaga ho kasi. Nag-aaway kami.
Other celebrities who went to the Necrological Mass were Liezl Martinez Angel Locsin, Arlene Muhlach, and Gladys Reyes.
