In an interview with PEP.PH, held last July 10, Xian Lim revealed that he does not have any qualms about the possible reunion of Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson for a TV project.
"Wala naman talagang ikaka-worry talaga,” says Xian, who further denies that there is a competition going on between him and Gerald. “Magkaiba kami (Gerald) ng journey. Magkaiba kami ng path.”
Despite his confidence over his onscreen chemistry with Kim, Xian reiterates that aside from being “special friends,” they’ve mutually decided to take things slow at the moment.
“Nothing has changed… Kumbaga, we’re still gonna remain friends. We’re still gonna remain special to each other. But we’re not rushing things,” says Xian. “Mas mabuting hindi raw sila magmadali upang mabigyan din nila ng sapat na atensiyon ang kanilang trabaho. Sa ngayon, we can focus more (on our project). We’re special to each other. But we’re gonna take things slow. Slowly but surely.”
After their blockbuster film “Bride For Rent” released last January, the two is set to shoot for another Star Cinema film with a working title of “Past Tense,” which also stars Queen of comedy Ai-Ai de las Alas. The film is also directed by Mae Czarina Cruz.
“It’s a rom-com,” ends Xian. “Sabihin na natin na it’s an unresolved love between the three of us.”
