"Friendzoned" is a famous term now for a friend who tried to take his/her friendship with another person, only to be denied eventually. 

But, these best friend roles proved that indeed their friendship is the most solid foundation for their romantic relationship to grow fonder. Or, is it?
1.      Ned (Marvin Agustin)

Synopsis: Childhood friends Ned and Bujoy keep no secret from each other, except the fact that Bujoy is secretly in love with Ned. But for the sake of Ned’s feelings for her cousin Marry Ann (Vanessa Del Bianco), Bujoy set aside her feelings. But when Ned’s male friend Cenon (Gio Alvarez) starts to pursue Bujoy, he suddenly realizes his bestfriend’s worth.

2.      Emmy (Sharon Cuneta)

Synopsis: Accomplished career woman Emmy has always been helping her married friends from their financial issues. But other than helping her married friends, she also makes it a point to tend her bestfriend Enteng, a certified playboy. They later on realize that what they feel for each other is more than just plain friendship.
3. Mae (Kim Chiu)

Synopsis: Mae and Bogs are best of friends. But deep inside, Mae has always been in love with Bogs that she chooses to keep her feelings when Bogs falls in love with Anna (Melissa Ricks). When Anna breaks up with Bogs, Mae consoles her bestfriend. Eventually, Bogs and Mae become a couple, but when Bogs cross paths with his ex, he becomes confused with his feelings
4.      Patchot (Kathryn Bernardo)
Bestfriend of: Ivan (Daniel Padilla)
Movie: “Must Be…Love

Synopsis: Tomboyish Patchot is secretly in love with her bestfriend Ivan, who is in love with the ladylike Angel (Liza Soberano). Hurt and frustrated, Patchot transforms into a beautiful young lady.

5.      Wacky (Dingdong Dantes)
Bestfriend of: Cat (Bea Alonzo)
Movie: “She’s The One
Release: 2013
Director: Mae Czarina Cruz
Synopsis: Through the years, Wacky and Cat’s friendship stood still. But things start to become complicated when Wacky played matchmaker for Cat and the young boy David (Enrique Gil) to save his position as a mainstay host in a morning show. As Cat and David’s relationship blossoms, Wacky realizes that he is in love with Cat, who, on the other hand, has decided to move on from her hidden feelings for him.
6.      Gillian (Liza Soberano)
Besfriend of: David (Enrique Gil)
Movie: “She’s The One
Release: 2013
Director: Mae Czarina Cruz
Synopsis: The ever-supportive Gillian helps her bestfriend David find the ‘”girl in the rain” he came across with. As David finds the mysterious girl named Cat (Bea Alonzo), the two became a couple despite their age gap. But as Cat realizes her feelings for her bestfriend Wacky (Dingdong Dantes), David also learns that Gillian is the one that he truly loves.
