#ThrowbackStar: Vanessa del Bianco

Vanessa del Bianco’s first stint as an actress was in the 1996 youth-oriented show “Gimik.” Years later, she was tapped to play as Bea Bianca, model villain in the TV series "Pangako sa 'yo" (2000) who made Yna (Kristine Hermosa) miserable.

She starred in these Star Cinema films too, “Pera o bayong (1999),” “Isprikitik: Walastik kung Pumitik (1999), “Hiling (1998),” and “Labs kita, Okey ka lang? (1998).”

In 1998, Vanessa became a mainstay of the defunct TV show “Magandang Tanghali Bayan (MTB)” where she exhibited her dancing skills. In fact she had her own dance contest on TV - “Stardance: The Search for the Dance Idol” in 2005.

Vanessa also figured into controversy after being eyed as the reason behind the separation of her co-host John Estrada to his then wife Janice de Belen.

John and Vanessa admitted being a couple in 2001 but their romance was cut short in 2006. John denied any third party involved in their separation and even hinted a possible reconciliation. Vanessa, on the other hand, kept mum on the issue.

Vanessa has reportedly gone back to her homeland Canada, and last year, she appeared in a Canadian TV commercial.

According to her Linkedin account, Vanessa is currently a Sales Manager at Mayfair Clubs in Canada.
