In an Interview with Boy Abunda in last Sunday's “The Buzz ng Bayan,” William Chiu Jr., father of Kim Chiu, shared how he prepared a surprise party for the Drama Princess. 

Last April 19 was Kim’s 24th birthday.

“Akala niya nakalimutan na namin lahat 'yung birthday niya,” he adds. “Pagpasok niya ng pinto, biglang marami kaming nagkantahan ng happy birthday. Umiyak siya,” he recalls.

When asked what is his wish for his daughter, he quips, "Huwag ka magbago.  Be simple always. Huwag ka sana magsawa tumulong sa mga kapatid mo. Alam ko naman na sobrang mabait ka sa kanila."
