After almost a decade and a number of film projects under Star Cinema, multimedia star Toni Gonzaga shares that the film outfit did not only make her a better actress, but also a better person.
"Dito ako nag-grow not just an artist but also as a person. Iba ang pakiramdam kapag sinabing Star Cinema movie,” exclaims Toni. "Happy, happy 20th anniversary I'm really grateful and honored to be a part of this huge, huge family."
Toni, in her 9 years as a Kapamilya, has a string of blockbuster films to her name, including “You Are The One (2007)” with Sam Milby as her leading man, “My Amnesia Girl (2010)” with John Lloyd Cruz, “This Guy’s In Love With You Mare (2010), with Vice Ganda and Luis Manzano.
Her movie, “Four Sisters And A Wedding (2013)” with Bea Alonzo, Angel Locsin, and Shaina Magdayao made them win the Best Supporting Actress Award at the recently concluded Gawad PASADO Award.
Her most notable film with Star Cinema to date was her much-awaited team-up with the Ultimate Heartthrob Piolo Pascual, “Starting Over Again” which has earned more than P200 million in the box-office nationwide.
Toni also had a series of movies with Sam Milby such as “You Got Me (2007),” “My Big Love (2008),” and “Ang Tanging Pamilya (2009).”
Her comedic side was also seen in the bigscreen through these films, “D’ Anothers (2005), “My Only U (2008) with Vhong Navarro, and her film with comedienne Eugene Domingo “Wedding Tayo, Wedding Hindi (2011).”
Moreover, Toni also earned gold record awards for “Toni Gonzaga: You Complete Me (2006),” “Love Is (2008),” “Love Duets (2009),” and “All Of Me (2010).” While, her 2007 album “Falling In Love” reached platinum. And this year, Toni is set to release one more album. All her albums are under Star Records.
Currently, Toni plays as John Lloyd’s wife in the Sunday sitcom “Home Sweetie Home,” while hosting “PBB: All In.”
