“It’s Showtime” host Eric “Eruption” Tai is set to tie the knot to non-showbiz girlfriend Rona Samson. Eric proposed to his girlfriend at Mayon Volcano last Good Friday, April 18.
"Doon sa Mayon Volcano umakyat kami, siyempre Eruption at Mayon Volcano. Pero nag-camping lang kami sa taas then 'yun I popped the question madaling araw na," confirmed Eric yesterday on “It’s Showtime.”
Tai also posted a photo on his Instagram account (eruption23) showing Rona’s hand wearing the engagement ring. He captioned the photo, "@Rownita said YES!!! #iAmIndeedAVeryLuckyBeast #BeautyAndTheBeast #GoodFriday."
On the other hand, his fiancée Rona also posted a photo of them kissing in front of the Mayon Volcano with a caption of, “Still on cloud 9. A very beautiful morning from Mayon Volcano. So much love and gratitude to @MayonATVtours for making such a memorable experience happen.
