This April, at the 6th Annual Honolulu Filipino Film Festival in Honolulu, Hawaii, two films of Star Cinema will be featured -“Bagong Buwan” and “Ekstra.”
The said festival will run from April 4 to 17, 2014.
Directed by the late Marilou Diaz-Abaya, “Bagong Buwan” will be shown on April 6 and April 11 as it is the Festival’s tribute to the late director and to compliment Mona Lisa Yuchengco's documentary “Marilou Diaz-Abaya: Filmmaker on a Voyage.”
Marilou Diaz-Abaya died due to cancer a few years ago.
“Ekstra” will also be featured as opening film on April 4, 9 & 15 on the same festival.
Meanwhile, this April 15, “Ekstra” will also have its screening here in the Philippines.
In celebration of the World Intellectual Property (IP) day, The Philippine Film Community invites you to the World IP Day Film Screening featuring “Ekstra.”
Catch a private screening of this award-winning film on April 15, 4 p.m. at Cinema 3, Greenbelt 3 in Makati.
