Father and son Edu Manzano and Luis Manzano have a lot of similarities aside from their good looks.
Both are very good talk show hosts -witty, down-to-earth, and interesting.
They are also effective game show hosts.
Also, they both have done drama and comedy films with so much ease.
The older Manzano had done drama films such as “Separada,” “Ama, Ina, Anak,” “Minsan Minahal Kita,” and “Tanging Yaman,” while Luis had done 2009 film “In My Life,” with his mother, Vilma Santos and John Lloyd Cruz.
In doing "In My Life," the younger Manzano gave a commendable performance making him earn a lot of good praises.
They have also starred in comedy films – Edu with “I Do, I Die, Diyos ko ‘Day!” and “Tanging Ina,” while Luis has “This Guy’s in Love with you Mare!” with comedian Vice Ganda and Toni Gonzaga.
The two have also been partnered with the finest leading ladies of their respective generations – Edu with Maricel Soriano and Sharon Cuneta, while Luis has been paired up with Anne Curtis and Toni Gonzaga.
The father and son also portrayed a character of a superhero.
Edu played the role of “Captain Barbell” back in 1986 while Luis portrayed the role of "Flash Bomba" last 2009.
