If there’s any instrument that Kathryn Bernardo wants to master, it’s ukulele.
 
She shares having had a lesson with “The Voice of the Philippines” Season 2 artist Kai Honasan, whose brother Karel helped the Teen Queen in finding the perfect bass guitar she gave Daniel Padilla for his 18th birthday last year.
 
“Si Kuya Karel Honasan, pinakilala siya sa’kin ni Kuya Rox (Santos of Star Music) kasi magaling siyang mag-bass, so nagpatulong ako sa kanya nun for DJ’s gift na bass,” she tells us after the shoot of her music videos “You Don’t Know Me” and “Mr. DJ.”
 
“Sinabi ko na gusto kong matuto ng ukulele so sabi niya ‘yung kapatid niya, sakto, si Ate Kai, ‘yun pala ‘yung ginagawa niya so nagpaturo ako…,” Kathryn adds. “Hindi pa nasundan pero ‘yun ‘yung isa sa mga gusto kong matutunan talaga kasi nage-enjoy ako.”
