If there’s one person who’s obviously the happiest today, Oct. 17, it’s Zanjoe Marudo.
 
Today is the birthday of his girlfriend, Bea Alonzo, and he has a short and sweet tribute for her on Instagram (@zanjoemarudo).
 
“rock and roll!!! happiest birthday to My love! ikaw ang may birthday pero, you're a gift to the world! ilove you,” he says.
 
Regarded as one of the most beautiful faces in showbiz, Bea started acting at age 14 as part of the teen show “K2Bü.” She showed drama prowess when she joined the cast of the drama series “Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay,” where, as destiny would have it, her experimental pairing with John Lloyd Cruz gained a loyal following.
 
Their hit onscreen partnership led to several teleseryes and movies, namely “My First Romance,” “All About Love,” “Now That I Have You,” “Close To You,” “One More Chance,” “Miss You Like Crazy,” and “The Mistress.”

It seemed to have been a work of fate as well when she and real-life leading man Zanjoe worked together in the 2010 movie “Sa ‘Yo Lamang.” They’ve been together for some three years now.
