ewlyweds Jennica Garcia, 25, and Alwyn Uytingco, 26, confirmed that they have exchanged wedding vows last February during the press conference of their upcoming TV series, held earlier today, October 16.
“Last February 12, we got married secretly,” says Alwyn. “So, sorry kung may mga nagtatanong, hindi namin alam kung ano ang sasabihin namin.”
According to Alwyn, they did not immediately announce their marriage because they were then finding for the right time.
He adds, “Kasi lagi kaming tinatanong, kailan kami magpapakasal, 'tapos hindi ko lang masabi na, ‘A, actually kasal na kami at naghahanap lang kami ng right time to tell everyone.’ And ayun, nangyari sa… with the help of our Christian family, sa Victory Greenhills, San Juan.”
Jennica, daughter of actress Jean Garcia, echoes Alwyn’s statement saying:
“And ako talaga, I really want to share, kasi it’s a good news and there’s nothing to be ashamed of.”
