Coco Martin: "Hindi sa'kin kasi pwede 'yung 'pwede na.'
Coco Martin is one dedicated actor, the type who's really hands-on in developing a character that audiences will be able to relate to and be inspired by.
With this dedication and passion for his craft, it's no surprise that Coco considers himself a perfectionist.
"Hindi sa'kin kasi pupwede 'yung 'pwede na yan,'" he told us in an exclusive interview.
Nonetheless, the award-winning actor remains open to learning.
For his latest box office film, "Beauty And The Bestie," Coco shared, "ni-ready ko 'yung sarili ko... pagpasok ko sa pelikulang 'to kung ano 'yung matututunan ko, bibitbitin ko 'yun. Naka-open ako eh. Kumbaga willing ako matuto."
It's safe to say that there's a long career ahead of Coco. He looks forward to trying different roles and working with other artists.
"Marami pa akong mga gustong gawin. Marami pa akong mga artistang gustong makatrabaho, mga direktor. Ayokong bigyan ng limitasyon 'yung sarili ko," he related. "Basta gusto ko bawat proyekto na nagawa ako naging masaya ako at alam kong may kabuluhan 'yun."
He stressed that he does films not for fame and money but to inspire others.
"Sa bawat taong makakanood, may isang tao akong mata-touch doon kasi alam ko makaka-relate sila sa pelikulang ginawa ko," he said.
