Before I always thought, being thin, because it’s in, it’s okay, it’s healthy.

But na-realize ko when we were shooting “Pangako Sa ‘yo," may scene kami ni Ian Veneracion kung saan iha-hug ni Eduardo si Amor, so pag-hug niya sa akin, ang instruction ni Direk, kailangan kong pumiglas doon sa pagkaka-hug niya sa akin. So nung hinug na ko ni malaking mamang Ian Veneracion, ang Jodi Sta. Maria, naipit!

‘Di na talaga ako makawala, ‘di na talaga ako makakilos, na parang it took a lot of energy and effort na mag-break away ako dun sa pagkaka-hug niya. That’s when I realized, wala akong physical strength. Wala akong muscle strength, I have to do something about it.

Nag-start ako mag-inquire sa mga fitness centers na hindi ko talaga in-imagine na papasok ako ng isang fitness club. But then I realized na it’s very important to have a balance between a balanced diet and physical workout, hindi purong diet, hindi pwede purong exercise naman kung makakain pang-“ER”--- carpenter, worker!

Kailangan talaga may balance.

Pinakaimportante, eat healthy, eat right, "‘di ko maiwasan ang baboy, ‘di ko maiwasan ang chocolate," hindi ko naman masabi ‘wag niyong kainin, pero always do it in moderation. Anything in excess is bad.

When it comes naman to working out, “wala akong time sa gym,” pero since nasa bahay ka may time ka, pwede kang magwalis, magbunot, or you know 'yung mga simple chores sa bahay you can always turn it into a workout or execirse.

Just keep moving!
