Jake Ejercito has clapped back to Andi Eigenmann's two-day long Twitter rampage against him.
In an interview with PEP today, April 21, Jake defended himself and his family against the actress' Twitter posts about his parenting ways, as well as his decision to file joint custody for their daughter Ellie.

Jake said, “I think it’s only right for a father to spend time with his daughter. [And] we’re not asking for much...that’s very important for a child’s formative years."
He continued, "Hindi aabot sa ganito na magpa-file kami ng case kung nakakausap siya nang maayos. We tried going through a lot of people."
According to Jake, he and his family have been preparing to file a lawsuit since last year but have been pushing it back in hopes that the custody issue can be solved through talking.
"It’s a bummer na pinapalabas nila na hindi ka marunong makipag-usap," he says.
"Before asking these people, sumubok din ako. Obviously, it didn’t work. You know, nakain ko na 'yung pride ko, basically."
He went on, "And now you hear her saying na ‘heartless’ ang mga Ejercitos. It’s overgeneralization. Dinamay na niya buong pamilya ko. It’s really… hindi ko maintindihan saan nanggagaling."
Jake claimed that the court case was just his way of making regular interactions with his daughter possible. He said that he sees her once a month, sometimes twice.
Ellie was born November 23, 2011. Jake publicly confirmed he's Ellie's father late last year.
